After Nyne Delighted to Announce Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair Partnership

The UK’s largest contemporary print fair is set to run from 17-20 November 2016 at the Royal Arsenal Riverside in Woolwich. Curated by Brocket Gallery London, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair will sell original, affordable prints alongside demonstrations, artist tours and advice on how to start an art collection.

We are thrilled to announce that After Nyne are an official media partner for the Fair and will be releasing a series of exclusive interviews and reviews taking our readers behind the scenes of this exciting new event.

Lizzie Glendinning (Curator, Brocket Gallery) commented: ”We are thrilled to contribute to the cultural redevelopment of this vibrant area and utilise such a fascinating arena in which to showcase a dynamic selection of contemporary printmakers at the fore of their craft.

"With the ongoing development of Royal Arsenal Riverside and the pending Crossrail link set for 2018, making Woolwich only 15 minutes from central London, this is the perfect opportunity for art organisations to work together and utilise some incredible ex-industrial spaces to expand and support a flourishing cultural scene. For us this is absolutely the right place to be to introduce what is set to be the UK's largest solely contemporary original print fair.”

The Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair aims to celebrate every aspect of printmaking - from etching and lithograph, to woodblock and screen-printing. Emerging artistic talent will sit alongside established practitioners with an incredible range of prints for sale and exhibitors with an unsurpassed knowledge of their craft. There will be affordable and original prints that appeal to both longstanding collectors and people looking to buy their first original artwork.

Interactive demonstrations will also offer visitors the chance to learn about the practice of printmaking and what to look for when starting to build their own collection. Framing advice and onsite services will be available at a special discounted rate for the duration of the fair.
